Extensive renovations in 1991 retained the character and old world charm of
this early 20th century butterfactory. The Channon Butterfactory Tavern today
offers travellers and locals a hot meal and a hot or cold beverage in a pristine rural setting.
Nestled alongside Terania Creek and downstream from the famous Protestors
Falls and NightCap National Park, the Tavern is set amongst peaceful gardens
and remains the heart of the village.
Everyone is catered for including large groups such as bus tours, car and
bike clubs. The restaurant boasts a constantly changing blackboard menu with
fresh, mouth-watering meals at affordable family prices.
Every First Saturday of the month there will be a LIVE music performance, come along and relax with a cold beverage, even stay for a delightful dinner with our new cheifs Ross and Krystal.
Experience the famous Channon Craft Market on the second Sunday of each month or the Folk Club's Open Mic in the grounds of the Tavern on the fourth Sunday.
