The third annual Gears and Beers Festival is a Community Cycle Challenge, combined with a Craft Beer and Cider Festival. The event is conceived and run by the Rotary Club of Wollundry Wagga Wagga.
Wagga Wagga is well known as an active community and they are proud to provide an event that promotes health, fitness and fun to all ages.
The focus is on community participation; mums, dads, children, current cycle enthusiasts, beginners and business challenge participants. The craft beer and cider festival has been created to meet the growing appreciation for the range of hand crafted beers and ciders produced in the region.
The combination of the cycle challenge, the craft beers and cider festival, outstanding locally roasted coffee, accompanied by great local food plus first class musical entertainment should make for an enjoyable day.
Ride distances begin with 15 kilometres, 30 kilometres, 50 kilometres, 105 kilometres, and culminate with their marque ride ?The Rapha Dirty 130? which contains four challenging dirty sectors.
